What a Sunday!!!!!!!!!!!

Oakberrow Wotzinaname - otherwise known as FosterGin and Foster both went to West Country Dog Show on Sunday down at The Hand Stadium in Clevedon.  Foster won Best of Breed under Ann Jowsey and then Gundog Group 2 under Colin Woodward.  Brilliant!

Gin won Best of Breed Hungarian Wirehaired Pointer under Colin and was also shortlisted in the Gundog Group.  There was strong competition in the Group with 17 breeds being represented.

Both are looking forward to their first day on Wednesday at Mike's shoot at Twyning where Stowford the baby Hungarian Wirehaired will be joining the team.

Foster and Gin at Midland Counties Championship Dog Show

Foster my GSP Oakberrow Wotzinaname won a commendable 2nd in Limit at the show this Friday under breed specialist Lesley Trow.

However Gin the Hungarian Wirehaired Pointer - kennel name Farnfield Pussy Galore at Galicar - won 1st Open Bitch, Best Bitch and the Reserve Challenge Certificate.  This is Gin's 2nd RCC her first was awarded at Welsh Kennel Club this August under Valerie Foss.

This is the last of the Championship shows for these 2 kennel mates this year and they will start working on the local shoots 2nd November - catch up with their news then.

Foster wins at Gundog Society of Wales

What a brilliant day at Gundog Society of Wales Championship Dog show on the 12th October.  Foster - Oakberrow Wotzinaname won a strong Limit Class and then judge Denise Gatliffe awarded him Reserve Challenge Certificate - his second.  The first he won last year at Richmond Championship Show where the judge was Tony Rainey.

Watch this space because his next show is Midland Counties Championship Show

Dolwen Noble does the double

Noble the Ryeland Sheep we purchased from the Donovan family has had great success since coming to live in Herefordshire winning Championship Ryeland at Monmouth Show and Moreton Show.   At Monmouth show he was shortlisted for the Inter Breed Championships.  Noble is enjoying life with his ladies.  Follow more of Noble's adventures here.
